Well after enduring the coldest winter in 30 years, I'm more than happy to Spring Forward a bit early this year. All the clocks in Haute Country have been re-set an hour forward, and Spring will officially arrive in a week.
Just so you know, that lovely snow scene there almost never happens here, much less lasts for months on end with record snow falls. Booo. I'm seriously over it, lol.
Warmer temps & MORE sunshine is never a bad thing methinks :) The meanagers got to enjoy some outdoor sisterly camaraderie. A rather blissful change from my point of view. Of course texting knows no season, at least around here. lol.
Even the tiny little flowers seem to think it's about time for spring, even tho it's a bit late for them here, they've usually gone mad by now. The crocus are always the first to arrive, quickly followed by the buttercups/daffodils, and much later the tiger lillies.
It never ceases to amaze me, year after year. The leaves & little buds struggle up through surface of the ground, where they've hibernated all winter, to burst forth in reawakening.
